The first electrically- driven motor yacht in the world to be built in Croatia

Mate Rimac, the founder of Rimac Automobili has embarked on a new project of building the first, electrically-powered fast motor yacht in the world. The Croatian innovator and author of the fastest electric car in the world Rimac Concept One has accepted the Cadia Yacht offer to apply electrical technology his company Rimac Automobili uses in sports cars onto a motor yacht. The new, innovative yacht will be built at the Elan headquarters in Obrovac. It will be able to accommodate 10 people, its overall length will be 14.36 meters, its hull 13.88 meters and the yacht will have two electric motors that will develop a maximum power of 386 kW (525 horses) which can increase to 1,308 kW (1,780 horses) in a very short span of time. Since it has an electric motor, the yacht will be able to sail in environmentally protected zones where strict environmental regulations are applied.
